Paris is incredibly beautiful and interesting. The gardens are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen and the Parisiennes truly enjoy them. They sit to enjoy the sun and breezes, they play - many with boats in the fountains, and they relax and enjoy their city and each other. We Americans could take a lesson here. Les Jardins du Luxembourg are some of my favorites in Paris and I hope you'll agree when you see today's slide show.
As many of you know, when Peter and I travel we like to get on the water and we do that every time we come to Paris. The Seine is very swollen and its waters are breaching the embankments in many places, making the "walk along the banks of the Seine" a little more challenging than in the past.
The iconic Eiffel Tower is seen nearly everywhere in the distance within Paris, but this is the first time we have spent so much time, at different hours of the day, "up-close-and-personal" with the Tower, and what we liked before, we now love.
I hope you see different parts of Paris in this slide show, as we have.

À tout à l'heure!
Fifty years ago the Luxembourg gardens were on my way between classes, and I spent many an hour by the pond, watching the young sailors with their boats. Sometimes I just sat in a chair for a few minutes and watching the passing parade. Thanks for the memories.

It's been far too long since I've been to Paris. You just brought me back, thanks. There were a couple of photos I'd love to purchase. Let's talk when you return. Best to Peter! Enjoy!
