Every time I am there, Erin (my college roommate and I) make sure to go to Ben's Chili Bowl. It's a D.C. favorite - most definitely not healthy but some delicious chili cheese fries. Then, if you venture to Eastern Market (one of my favorite places to stroll on a weekend), Tunnicliff's Tavern is a must for brunch. They have an omelet that sounded strange to me but I have now discovered is pure genius: the farmer's omelet. It's made with mashed potatoes, cheese, and some of the best bacon I've ever tasted in the middle. My last trip we went to a place called The Heights, I've only been there once but I know I'll have to go back because I could not choose from all the delicious choices on the menu!

Christie, Please don't keep us guessing, what is your favorite DC food? You've peaked my curiosity.

I'm so jealous of those wings!! (and the bacon on a stick!) I'll have to try that next time I'm in D.C. but I'll be hard pressed to give up one of my favorite staples in the area that I normally gorge myself on! D.C. is such a great area for good food.

Well if I didn't know any better, I'd have thought I was there with you because of your wonderful storytelling skills... thanks.

The 3 represents 3 things: Good Food, Good Drinks, and Good Times.

For a second I thought I had missed two posts: restaurants 1& 2... ;-)
