This recipe is wonderful and full of flavor. I never thought to keep them in frig as suggested... I did add fresh basil, my favorite with maters. Thanks for this post!

From the looks of these pictures it is tempting for a non tomato lover to try them. I will say, the picture took almost as long to open as the tomatoes do to cook :) - Bit of an exageration, but did take long time for pic to open. Can't wait to see the final version :)

I actually will have to try this recipe. We have planted our 1st round of tomatoes in our EARTH BOXES...we are up to 10 boxes at this time w/ lettuce, spinach, etc. Basil grows so big, it almost needs a box of its own!! If you haven't tried..I can tell you there is NO other way to grow them.
