As I was processing more of my wave images, I stumbled across this when I was zooming in to check the focus of one of the images. I started laughing immediately as it called to mind a hippo, a very specific hippo that we came across at dusk in a river in Kenya years ago. He and his pals were lined up facing the shore we were standing on making a sound like laughter (for a hippo). Their laughing at us, staring at them, made me laugh uncontrollably - a memory I cherish with a smile to this day.
Now Peter has looked at this picture four ways to Sunday and says he cannot see a hippo for the life of him. Please tell me .. do you see the hippo or do I simply have an over active imagination? Come on ... be honest ... I can take it!
Quite simply ... Monsieur winter must give way to Monsieur spring, but March is the month in which these two argue. I've seen crocuses sprouting in the yard buried under snow only two days later. Push ... pull ... give ... and take.
Last week's snows were mild and pretty but I couldn't wait to add color to the picture with hopes of bright blooms and blue skies soon.
