After eleven hours on the road, heading north to the Adirondacks, our journey from French Lick, Indiana ended .... where else .... Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada! Well we were going to stay in Buffalo, but this is so close, and they let us cross the border, even looking as we did after so many hours on the road.
This is the view from the room Peter got us from the Internet while underway and, believe it or not, it is affordable - it may have taken time, but time well spent. We can't wait for sunrise. The sun is going to come up right behind those falls, the ones on the U.S. side - the country to the south. Did you know that the U.S. is east of Canada here? :)

Went there with your sister...just the ambient POWER of that water is awe inspiring. The Lady of the Mist ride is worth the toll but it's a wet ride!
Mother Nature has so many ways to make you feel small and vulnerable and then uplifted... All at the same time.
