I'm sure many of you think AARP (American Association of Retired People) is simply an advocacy group for people over 50, and some of you recognize it as a really big insurance company and none of you would be wrong, but what we've learned is that AARP membership can give you valuable travel discounts too.
We're celebrating our seniority getting discounts on hotels on our road trip. Hampton, LaQuinta, Wyndham, and Starwood are just some of the hotels that give discounts to AARP members, and since we earn travel points with Starwood, we're paying less and earning more - what a way to travel! There are lots of other travel discounts, just check out the AARP website. The only hitch is you do have to acknowledge your age to get the discounts.
Anyone over 50 has certainly earned whatever discounts come their way - enjoy this positive chapter in your life!
